I'm currently running a Colt 14.5" SOCOM M4A1 barrel on an M16 lower. Talk about an exceptional set-up. It dissipates heat like crazy, even with my suppressor and full-auto. The regular 14.5" LE6921 M4 barrel couldn't compete with it. Not to mention that the heavy barrel supports a suppressor's weight better. It will take anything that you can dish out.
