I was having a problem with my 16" M4gery leaving spent casings in the chamber (FTExtract) When I would finally get them out of the chamber, I would find the rim deformed where the extractor popped over it. For the hell of it, I bought a 9mm RRA buffer at a gunshow to try out because that was the hot topic at the time and I heard that they could help solve my problems.
I haven't had a single FTExtract since I put it in (about 1000-1200rds ago) but I did put the CAR buffer back in one day at the range and it went back to FTE again (even with Q3131a) so the 9mm buffer went back in and has been in there since then.
IMO, if you're rifle isn't functioning 99.99%, you might want to look into this, if needed.
BTW, it changed the ejection pattern with Wolf from about 1:30 to about 3 o'clock straight to my right which means the bolt/carrier is moving slower and, in theory, causing less wear.
