Can anybody reccomend a 4-rail handguard for mid-lengths that uses the standard barrel nut?

I mean, other than the SIR. It would rock, but $400 is just a little but much for me.

It would be the one to get, just save up a little longer since it is well worth the price.

Not quite sure why the retention of the standard barrel nut is important to you.

Please clarify

Ah well. I guess it isn't all important really. I guess I just drank too much coffee this morning.

In that case the PRI mid-length is a good choice.

Also the KAC FF mid-length is exellent, however I think they are no longer in production.

They both use a proprietary barrel nut that doubles as the mounting interface for the FF tube.

Like 3rdtk said the mid-length SIR is also very nice.

All 3 are great choices.

I really like the PRI the best. But the mid length lower rail is too short for a vertical grip in the position I want.

I may go with the ARMS.

Does anybody have a review yet of the Armalite setup?
