“Built by popular demand”; Often some of the most commonly requested features can be hard to find in one product line. With that in mind, we have been working overtime on this new product line and are proud to finally be able to take a minute to formally introduce it.
These are manufactured by Bravo Company MFG, Inc (BCM). The new BCM Barreled Upper Group will offer these Mil-Spec Features · M4 Feed Ramp Flat Top Upper Receiver · M4 Feed Ramp Barrel Extension (USGI M4 and M4A1) · T-Marked Upper Receivers · USGI 1/7 Twist Rates · USGI 5.56 NATO Chambers · Mil-Spec-B-11595E - 4150 Grade Barrel Steel (CMV) · Chrome Lined Bore and Chamber · Manganese Phosphate Barrel Finish (also under FSB) · Mil-Spec F-Marked Forged Front Sights (Secured by taper pins-USGI) · USGI Government Profile Barrels · HPT (High Pressure Test) Barrels (M197 proof load) · MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspected) Barrels Our initial barrel offerings are: 11.5" Government Profile 14.5” M4 Government Profile 16” M4 Government Profile 16” Mid Length Government Profile 20” Government Profile (we will have further offerings in the future) Subcontractor and Supply Info: Our contoured blanks are supplied by ERShaw. Chrome lined bore and chamber is done by US Chrome. Many other parts including upper receivers are supplied by CMT. Departing (just a bit) for our normal SOP - please note: some of the supply, manufacturing, machining, and other process are can't be fully disclosed, as the AR15 market place is extremely competitive and this information can be costly to develop. Edited to add: A barreled upper group (less: b/bc/ch and handguards) retails for $445. They will be sale priced of $419. These barrels and barreled upper groups and future BCM parts will be available at: G&R Tactical Midwest Industries (MI) Denny's Guns (Global Tactical) And of course Bravo Company USA, Inc. So tagged. I'm going to have to start selling body parts to keep up here! Definitely interested in the 14.5" and midlength!!
this would be great too! but a 20" is definately in line |
Looks like some good stuff!
I'm looking forward to trying out one of your mid-length barrels! |
Bravo Company will be using CMT M4 upper receivers which already have the extended feed ramps done at the factory. In otherwords the feed ramps are already anodized! |
Sounds great to me |

Yup, Here is an excerpt from our ad copy . . . M4 Feed Ramp Barrels M4 Feed Ramp Upper Receiver In developing the USGI M4 carbine as one of the primary weapons for today’s infantry, some modifications were performed to the original M16 platform to enhance the reliability of the shorter barreled carbines. With the shorter carbine gas system and the increased gas port pressure, the carbine cycled faster, and at times the cycle rate could be faster than the magazine would feed ammunition. One of the modifications done to increase reliable feeding included enhancing the angle and the length of the feed ramps. This USGI modification was done to both the barrel extension and the upper receiver, creating a longer and steeper feed ramp. These Mil-Spec M4 feed ramps are part of the original CNC manufacturing process. As a result, the factory machined M4 feed ramps on the receiver are hard coat anodized which adds significant strength to the aluminum. This feature is offered on all BCM uppers and all BCM barrels. Thanks to all for their interest! Paul |

re-ditto. lightweight 1/7 or 1/8 ? |
I need a 16" M4 barrel.
I'm just a click away from buying the CMMG, tell me why I should choose the Bravo Brand, other than there would be no sales tax. Ah hell. Your good people, you sell good stuff and your damn helpful in the forums. How much do you want for it? |
Any chance of seeing a lightweight 16 or 20 with 1/7 twist? Or maybe a mid length, light weight with same twist?
Dont get me wrong, I may still get 3 of everything youve got so far, but I need some light weight barrels for some builds. |
I prefer to just talk about our product - outlining the features we have incorporated into it. CMMG are very good people and make a very good product. |
I am a big fan of lightweight stuff. That is why our all of the current barrels offered have the USGI government profile. Other than the barrels listed, the only other one that is currently "on the drawing board" is the 11.5 inch shorty. I do like the idea of the 16" lightweight in the future, but don't have immediate plans for one. |
Paul, very nice.
I'm sure you guys are going to sell a ton of them. |
will it be hbar profile ? |
The 11.5" (when released) would have the lighter goverment profile. |
Ooooooh. tag |

Paul
I know what you have gone thru to get the barrels right. It will be my pleasure to offer the barrels and uppers as soon as they are available. As you guys know I only carry products I have the upmost confidence in and Bravo Mfg has gone the extra mile or two on these to insure top of the line quality, reliability and value. Denny |

Please enlighten me on this: As I understand it, Colt "owns" the M4 technical data package and
specifically owns the M4 feedramps. Last I heard...and it's been a while....nobody but Colt could include the M4 type feedramps in a barrel extension or upper receiver. Has this changed? Is your inclusion of the M4 feedramps something that Colt can no longer touch? I HOPE so. My information isn't very current, so please, tell me what's up these days with that. Don't think I'm trying to pee on the thread. I LIKE what you're doing. I just seek some reassurance that what you're doing isn't going to get you in any trouble. In part because if I should buy from you at a later time, I'd expect those M4 feedramps to be there and not deleted as a result of legal action. CJ |
To be honest with you, I've allways wondered about this too. However, I wouldn't let it effect your purchasing decisions. There are lots of people out there offering them now, and if something was going to happen I think it would have happened by now I think. If you're thinking about buying something, just buy it and be happy. |
CJ,
Colt patent or not many companies have been using real M4 barrel extentions for a long time. No surprises here, what else would you expect from Bravao Comapany? |
I wish I could take better and clearer pics, but this is the M4 barrel markings. HP MP 1/7 5.56 NATO HP – HPT (High Pressure Test) MP – MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) 1/7 – Twist Rate 5.56 NATO – Chamber Size (all BCM barrels will have a chrome bore and chamber) We chose HP MP as a proof mark, to differentiate from other commercially offered barrels. Where MP could mean HPT and MPI, or just MPI, or other? We thought it was a clearer description. |
That could be anywhere from January 1 to March 31. |
You need another barrel like I need more pictures. Now me on the other hand, I could use another barrel... |
WOW good looking stuff with all the right features.
Now which one do I want, hmm.... |
Tag - I've been meaning to fill the "mid-length hole" in my supply and this looks like the one...
May we see a pic of the midlength, preferably next to the M4 barrel?
Paul,
Could we get prices, even if they are ball park? Thanks |
The mid length contoured blanks have not yet reached our facility. We do not expect them until some time next month (estimate). I will be happy to post some pics as we get them. Thanks! Paul |
are the barrels parked under the FSB as well? if so.....
I'm getting a 20incher 16 midlength |
Hi Jeff, Sorry, I didn't even realize I did not post the pricing. A barreled upper (less: b/bc/ch and handguards) retails for $435. We will have them on a kind of introductory sale price of $399. We currently have a small amount 16" and 14.5" in stock. MI has some 16" Grant at G&R Tactical has some 16" and 14.5" enroute Denny at Dennys Guns (Global Tactical) also has some 16" and 14.5" enroute Thanks for asking, Paul |
