I have a 5.56 barrel with an overall length of 7.5" I wanted something like the Midwest SS Gen2, but there shortest rail is 7", and I dont think the ID is big enough anyway.
I am trying to be able to mount an SDN-6 suppressor on a 51T mount, but a 7" rail wouldn't let me release the suppressor. I need a shorter rail system.

Any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of are Pistol length rails, which are usually 4". Other than that your option would be to get a 7" rail and either have a shop professionally cut it down for you, or cut it yourself.

Check out SLR Rifleworks.  They might chop down their 7" Intrepid Rail for you if you ask nicely.  They are good folks.

Samson makes a pistol length modular wrap around guard, assuming you are going with a pistol lenght gas system, and not blowback.

Cut down a carbine length carbon fiber tube.

Google Clark Custom.  They probably would cut a tube to any length you need.
