Hello, just finished my first lower build using a Essentials Arms lower with a DD lower parts kit.  I notice when I push down on the disconnector it feels gritty when it goes into the trigger housing.  Is this normal, or should I sand a little bit of the coating on the disconnector.  Everything is new so there is no dirt or build up of anything.  What do you guys think, have you have any problems like this, or should even worry about it.  I need to build the upper, so I can't tell if will be a problem yet.

Part of the gritty feeling is the disconnector spring rubbing/settling into its cutout inside the trigger channel.

I'd recommend making sure everything's clean and lightly lubed, and working it a bunch to break it in before you go sanding/polishing the sides of the disconnector and/or the walls of the trigger channel.

But, if a bit of breaking in and lube doesn't give you the smooth feeling you desire, or you hate waiting, go for it.
