The current gaggle....
         Plus I have another Bushmaster Shorty Rifle like the last rifle shown. Very similar to a Colt MT6731 like this with a A3 upper receiver.  Except it is a LEO Only Rifle made during the ban and the rifle has a threaded barrel with a A2 flash hider and a bayonet lug, I also have a 16" .22LR build. |

Thanks! It's a frankenbuild I've been running hard for a few years. Build list:
Aero precision forged lower perfectly in spec BCM gunfighter trigger Giessele buffer and braided spring Law tactical folder with strike industries tube and stabilizer Bootleg Inc upper receiver Spikes tactical nickel BCG (bought when spikes was badass) BCM gunfighter ch Holosun 515 elite on ADM lower 3rd mount BCM mcmr 10.5 Aero precision 12.5 barrel/carbine gas with BCM gas block 1/7 twist Surefire socom brake with surefire warden Arisaka defense 600 light with surefire switch Magpul AFG on Magpul mlok rail section |

I want an SBR Work/Duty/Beater Rifler that is High Quality but Budget Friendly for a Project like the one you built! I.E. How does the Holosun 515 Elite, which I know Holosun makes good optics, but are they on par with EOTech/Aimpoint? And Were any other mounts did you consider before the ADM, that I could give a look as potential option. I just ordered a Spikes BCG, and did you paint it yourself? I got lower and a 12.5 and a 14.5 6.8 SPC Barrel myself, I want to put together something similar! Thanks for the inspiration! |

I have never owned an aimpoint but the holosun is every bit as good as my eotech. Which is a better comparison really since the reticle is nearly identical. The factory mount with the holosun though needed replacing because when I would knock it around it would lose zero. I have had good experiences with the ADM mounts so that's why I chose it. I had painted the upper fde years ago and decided to make a shitty netting camo back over it with krylon matte black. The black has worn off some but I think it looks cool so I haven't messed with it again. |

Well, my rifle has changed a lot since I last posted it on 5/2/20. It's now "finished" now that my Trijicon MRO and LaRue LT849 have shown up this morning... at least until I decide that there's some other tweak I want to make.

FN-15 14.5 pinned Middy with enhancements from all the key players:
Geissele- G2S BCM Daniel Defense Trijicon Larue Surfire SOB -sling This is a scratch/dent upper and stripped lower from the pro-shop a couple years ago. I asked for the worst looking ones that they had.  <-- former FN employee     100 yrd over the top of my range bag; American Eagle 55gr. (50+ year old eyes) with a scope or younger shooter this would be much tighter.  . |
