This is the Colt MT 6601 HB I got a couple of weeks ago. Upper just returned from ADCO who installed a new Colt 20" government profiile 1/7 barrel I had. ADCO reparked the barrel for good measure to make it look really new. Damn fine park job I have to say! This one is gonna stay just like it is now

Hopefully should have it all together by the end of next week. |

Yep that's definitely a signature Jcrowl rifle based on the couch. Thought you said got rid of that?
Nice work!!! I like the Colt A2 Clones for sure. I am currently working on my A2 clone based on an all FN upper parts that I have. Barrel, receiver, & BCG. I am just torn on what to use for the lower. I like that Colt lower, but I want it to say 5.56 and not 223 match target. And I am definitely not using a Colt carbine or M4 stamped lower that says 556 |

Thanks for the kind words all.. We have the best of both worlds in a way now..I had a new Colt AR-15A2 A2 Sporter in the late 80s..it was Colt's update of the Sporter 1 (which was my first in 1974). and I guess it;s civlian version of the M16A2. The new "ciivie" AR-15A2,,as I remember,,didn;t have the fence around the mag release button and had that horrible screw in place of the front pivot pin. So here is a true M16A2 clone..lol...forget the rollmarks

Ive always really liked these guns. I think my next AR is gonna be an A2 carbine prob. a colt 6520.
