I get so tired of missing out on deals that I hear about others getting on firearms.  Well, I finally came across one myself.  I purchased this STAG-15 a few days ago for $600!  The guy was wanting
some pipes for his new Harley Motorcycle and apparently wanted them really bad.  This is a full LaRue upper with a stanless the LaRue stanless barrel.  I dont know alot about guns but I local dealer
looked at the gun and said it was about a $1800 gun without the cheapo scope thats on it.  The lower is a Stag Arms which is also ambidextrous.

I don't know if it's worth $1800, but it's definitely worth more than $600.  I think you did well.

No set of Vance&Hines are worth that. I hope you at least threw in mounting, brackets and doughnut rings.
If not than at least a reach around

Btw, ask him if he has another one as I have a Corbon seat for a softail and a set of hape hangers I'm willing to trade
even for

Man, I'd almost feel guilty getting that kind of a deal! Well..maybe not

I actually did feel guilty for a while.  Me and the guy I purchased it from are both Motor officers in the same department.
When the word got out about how much a gave him for the gun everyone started giving him a lot of grief about it, and telling him
that he was pretty much a idiot.  Made me really feel bad seeing the guys talk to him like that and the looks on his face during
the slam fests.  Hes happy with his pipes though and this gun is going in my safe, and will probably never be shot.  I'll continue to
use my bushmaster as my shooter.

He feels guilt around you for some reason. Keep an eye on him, and see what else the bike needs and how much is in the safe.

Hey when you do an optics upgrade, don't bridge the gap like that. Its a no no!

It's almost bizarre, like an ex wife or widow type of sale when she doesn't have a clue
or doesn't care what somethings worth, she just wants it gone. I mean, someone put
some effort and money into detailing that gun, the reciever sling mount, the VFG, etc.,
so he had to know what it was worth.

Sounds about right on

Vltor stock kit $150
rear sling mount $50
CAA grip $20
vertical grip $35
Lower $130
LPK $70
Larue Upper $1200
Vltor flash hider $55
USGI mag $10
TOTAL = $1720

And this doesn't take into account shipping from various sources...

You pretty much got that upper for free..

Keeping it in the safe and not shooting it would be a BIG shame  Go out and enjoy it.  There are a lot of people on this board that would love to have that gun!
