My wife prefered an M4 profile barreled flat top over a once lighter light weight barrel.Its funny how different our tastes are in the way our rifles are but thats configuaration she likes.Its a Bushmaster 1/7 M4 profile with a phantom.I would let your wife shoot both then it will either be the oposite of wich of the 2 you want or if its the same update hers to configuration she likes.

My wife prefers the midlengths because she feels they have less abrupt recoil. She has no problem shooting a carbine either though so it's really just personal preference. Easiest option
would be for your wife to shoot yours since you say you have both and see which she likes better

I would probably take the Bravo company middy over the wife. Oh wait you meant which gun to GIVE her!

Let her shoot both and pick one.
My wife didn't like any of the offerings that I picked out for her - so we had a build a rifle that suited what she liked. |

I would say midlength because of the smoother cycling. Thats just my thoughts.
