Can I convert one of my DPMS lowers to 6.8 just by changing out the upper and mags??

No you would need a 6.8 lower. You can convert it to 6.5 Gendel.

Yes you can , just replace the upper with one chambered in 6.8 and use mags set up for the 6.8. No other changes are needed.

Yes, that will work.  The differences are the barrel, bolt, and mags.

Just so that people can have a 6.8 marked lower.  6.8 only requires change of barrel, bolt and magazine.

Some guys like to have a lower that matches the caliber of the upper.  Dimensionally the 5.56 and 6.8 lowers are the same.

Wow I hate being dead wrong. That was the only thing keeping me from getting a 6.8 upper. So I will be ordering one today. Thanks.

Yes you can.. I"m on a tight budget so my lower is going to do triple duty.. 5.56, 6.5 and 6.8
