I start by flushing everything out with Break-Free Powder Blast.
I also use Break-Free Bore Cleaning Foam which fills the entire barrel from locking lugs to FH, so the foam actually helps get a lot of deposits from the chamber.
The best way to use the chamber brush that I found, is to coat it with CLP and insert it as you turn it in a CW direction. Continue to turn it CW as you pull it out.
Hose the chamber brush down with brake or carb cleaner and dry it off. Next, drape a large pistol patch over the brush and reinsert it as outlined above, mopping up the CLP and firing residue. Repeat as necessary.
The chamber brush will do a good job of cleaning the chamber, but doesn’t really get into behind the locking lugs very well. For the locking lug area I use a q-tip clamped in surgeons forceps. Usually the left over CLP laying in this area from the chamber cleaning, is enough for clean up.
Hope this helps.
