A Mega receiver should fit nicely with one from another brand that's in spec, however, you'll never know until you get one in your hands to know for certain. I wouldn't worry about too much unless you have a very worn or out of spec upper. The tolerances should be very close.
Some have reported tight mag well issues with Mega & Pmags, however, my own fit very nicely. |

Check mag fit before you put your parts in in those Megas!

I put together that exact same set up for my son. Fit was very good and the finish was almost exact on the upper and lower.
