Yeah I know, I'm not supposed to slap it so hard. But the other day I was out shootin' and I slapped a mag home then hit the bolt catch but nothing happened. I looked down and my mag was stuck all the way up into the upper. I hit the mag release and nothing, then I pulled on the mag and it wouldn't budge. I could not get the darn thing out. Then I pushed the take down and pivot pins but still couldn't get the mag to release. Finally after getting a large screw driver and a piece of wood for leverage I got the mag out. As far as I can tell it was jammed on the upper. I've had them go too far into the upper before but have never had one get this stuck. I literally took off the stock just too give me enough movement to release the mag. I'm just glad this didn't happen during a Zombie outbreak.....

It was my M1S plinker upper, and a new Colt aluminum mag.... I hit the mag pretty hard I guess. I tightened my mag release another turn and did not hit the mag as hard the next few times and didn't have anymore problems.

i've had this happen before, u need to punch out the retainer pin for the bolt relaese. and it should allow for the mag to come out, also it helps to take an rounds out the mag.
