I am getting ready to rebarrel my bushmaster and Im trying to sort through all of the hype. I think I understand the chambers but do they really change accuracy that much. I want a dependable rifle but also as accurate as possible. I will most likely shoot my own reloads 95% of the time and probably never use surplus ammo. Would a .223 chamber really be that bad?

The wylde chamber was designed to meet that requirement, as well as accepting both 223 and 556 cartridges.
