Precision. Looking at a 24" 1-14". Would like a 20", but limited to 1-9"??

actually, you'll get better precision using a heavier bullet
so, go with a 1-8" lots of good heavier bullets out there. 24" is fine, but heavy, if you go with a bushy varmiter, you should have what you need. it has a 1-9, but will stablize 69 gr bullets TXL |

also, if you can, get a wylde chamber, you can shoot both easily.
if not, go 5.56, more versatile. MY 20" hbar will do moa all day long with myhandloads. TXL |

Have to get home and get my loading manuals out, havent loaded .223 in years! Velocity? Should I chamber it in 5.56 or .223?
Been loading .204 and just caught this BRD! Hope there is no cure.... Thanks |

5.56mm IS .223. One designation is metric and one is in calibers (1 caliber=1/100 of an inch). If someone wants to tell me Im wrong you better have one hell of an explanation.

Yes, you can shoot .223 ammo in a 5.56mm chamber, but not vice versa.
Get a 5.56mm chamber. |
