I was going to post the same question. I have a Sabre Defense 16" Mid-length and was going to throw a Cav Arms handguard on there, but was wondering if they use a triangular or round cap?

Most all middy's come with a triangle HG cap and aftermarket manufacturers sell stuff accordingly.

Yes. There is a little tab that will be outside of the cap, and the rest locks in. |
