Yeah, I have 3 of them...especially getting it through a trade and not having to come up with the money up front, go for it.

suggested retail is around $1000 I think, $800 sounds fair for only 200 rounds fired.

i am into fourwheelers heavily also i build custom racers, and engine,, and also buy and sell used parts
now i happen to have a 2002 yamaha raptor for sale (i know im ahonda guy) but anyway its got alot of aftermarket parts on it but im selling it for $2500 as a steal to get rid of it

this guys im working on has a Arma m15a2  like i said and he wants to trade that and $1200 cash which doesnt meet my price on the quad nor would it pay for me to dleiver the quad 10-12 hours away from me, so i told him this:

you give me the AR
$2000 cash and we have a deal

that is :
$800 for the rifle (i know im trying to steal it)
$1700 to cover the remainder on the quad
and $300 for gas
fair enough aint it ?

I agree with stickman.  If the Armalite is not truly the configuration you want then don't get it.  If you like the RRA better, go for it.  Don't settle on something you don't really want because "it is a good deal", because everytime you look at it you will wonder how much happier you would be if you would have got the AR you really wanted in the first place.

well here i am in a Shitstorm hahah
i know i will end up with multiple AR's but i agree also but then again i have never owned a AR so i might like the Arma not sure i had a big battle between a Smith m+p for $1000 new or a RRA and it was suggested that RRA would be the best starter gun and i could further my BRD with the smith later
well maybe i could get this for not costed me any cold cash and then buy the RRA and then the smith and be a happy little bastard

but i understand my question now is the Arma is a good rifle correct? what differs it from RRA
different feel?
does it have a 2 stage trigger i kinda like that idea
accuracy better then RRA?
fill me in im a newbi to AR's

How different is it from the RRA that you wanted?  Is it a 20" A2, a midlength 16" A2 or an A2 carbine?  If it's not at least close to what you wanted originally, I'd say no...

Who told you that?  As long as you are using the (correct) fundamentals, any good AR is a starter AR.

yaya
i agree if i can get it i will get it, it wont cost me any cash and i can still buy a RRA or smithy next

I just like the RRA cause it comes with a 2 stage trigger and i like that  and also i can kinda customize it to my liking

but then again the smith M+P midlength is tempting at $1000 got the rails and troy sights brand new
damn this Ar BRD is getting to me before i even have one
ymy biggest problem is making sure i invest the money correctly

but i have made up my mind if the deal goes then it goes if not then it dont

but if it does i will have more BLCK RIFLES
