Who has the best price in a Colt LE 6920? I am in the market for one for Chrismas present for to my self. how loog do you think before the LE 6920 will run out and all there will be marked [ For Civilians only ] lower that looks real dumb?
The best I've seen is here; www.knesekguns.com $1,110 shipped |
A couple people I met said they tried to order from him but he never received the 6920's in stock, that was 3-4 weeks ago. Apparently what is shown on the website is not up-to-date whatsoever. There are deals to be had on gunbroker.com occasionally I see them for $1,200 + $30 s/h.
I emailed knesekguns.com 3 times over 5 days and never heard from them.

I had to quote it. |

That sucks. They seem to have a really good rep around here, yours is the first negative comment I've read. |
I ordered my Bushmaster M4A3 from Knesek’s and had absolutely no trouble with them at all, they usually have 100% email responses and all out customer satisfaction, if Larry has it on his website its usually in stock.
I hear that Colt is going to put out a 6920 marked "For Civilians Only."
I can hardly wait! |
That is beyond funny! |
That is what I saw on Gunbroker was a Colt LE6920 stamped [ For Civilians Only ]. Sorry I spelled it wrong in my first post at the top.
I bought a Bushy LEM4A3 and a Colt LE6920 from Larry. Good guy to deal with and his prices are great. I highly recommend him. |
But not to far fetched |
Jensen Arms sells them for $1249 shipped and they're a site dealer.
That price is only for LEOs with dept letterhead |
"FFL Dealer may also buy." Sounds like a transfer to me... |
If he was going to sell non-LEOs 6920s for $911 he'd be advertising them on the ee and would sell more than Colt could make. |
Legal Transfers is a dealer here at ARFCOM, and that is his/their advertised price, so what are you saying? It is a scam? Bait-n-Switch? Inside Information? If so speak up. |
I'm saying that he isn't selling 6920's to non-LEOs for $911 and he doesn't advertise that he is. How hard is that to understand? On the site the other guy posted, it clearly reads "We have Colt LEO Carbines in Stock for Police Officer and Dept Sales." Clear enough? |
...and it also clearly reads "FFL Dealer may also buy" right under the picture. Maybe that part wasn't clear. |
I spoke to Pete a few weeks ago about that price, and what he told me was that the $911 price is old and he's out of them. He said when he gets some more in that they would be around $1195 or something. Give him a call tomorrow and he'll tell you (straight from the horses mouth).
I had a great experience with Clyde Armory.
The going price for a LE6920 is around $1200. There's a reason why places that sell them for less are out of stock........ it's called "supply and demand". When you undersell the competion, you run out of stock quicker (not necessarily a bad thing) and have to wait for the next shipment. If you want a lower price, go find a used one on the EE. |
God dangit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid 1,300 back 12 months ago. |
I wasn't talking to you, but my point was that the dealer had ZERO 6920's that were for sale for $911. |
Appologies, I stand corrected. |
I have talked to Larry about this. He is a close friend of mine. He says as far as the 6920s go, he is still waiting for a shipment from Colt that was promised the first part of Sept. With the Military and Law enforcement orders, they have not been shipping any for civilian sales. He also usually replies back to any email he receives within an hour. Maybe yours did not go through. You can email him direct at [email protected] |
Do you know if they upcharge for credit card purchase? I have been on a waiting list since early sept and am getting tired of waiting. |
They didn't do any upcharge for me when I ordered mine. |
I didn't pay a credit card fee when I bought mine. |
+1000 on Larry at Knesek guns. I bought my 6920 from him last March. Only problem was he had to wait for his next shipment to come in before I could get mine. Larry is a great guy to deal with. Sometimes he does get busy with other things and can't get to his emails for a few days. Give him a chance t catch up. You won't be sorry dealing with him. |
for you guys who ordered from Clyde Armory, they didn't give you a hard time about not being a LEO?
Nope. |
They're listed for $1395 on their site |
+1 |
I emailed him again Tuesday night at 1am and finally got a response back at 2:30pm the next day and he said they do not have the 6920's in stock and he never gave me an ETA on when they'd get them in stock.
I emailed him at the same email address numerous times last month and never heard back. I know it wasn't an email problem because I run my own email server and they went through fine. Who knows maybe he was out of town.

I also e-mailed him on Tuesday and he got back to me on Wednesday afternoon and said he was expecting a shipment of (46) 6920's any time now. |
its wrong, they told me,they had a price drop,1195.00 is for real thats what i paid. |
Good to know Larry is expecting a shipment of 6920s as I have had one on order since mid Sep. Though with the volume he does my rifle may not be in that shipment.
No. And as for SAW, if they're website says $X and someone else tells you $(X-200), maybe that's a hint that you should call them and ask if they'll sell it for $(X-200)................ |
If anybody wants to take a roadtrip and pick one up, Guns and Ammo in Memphis, TN has 6920's in stock. At least they did when I was there 3 weeks ago. I'm thinking their price was $1,199. Their phone number is (901) 324-8346. They are the largest volume retail gunstore in Tennessee.
They also had 6520's and a couple 6450's. |
you would do better to e-mail tina in sales since they have 7 incomming lines and one person answering phone,i didnt even look at their online invatory but e-mail tina ,hey if they want to sell it 200 less cause i went direct .........great! also they have theirs in stock no waiting, they are a BIG colt dealer. |
I got an e-mail from Tina this morning, apparently 6920's are $1395. |
