Will the Yankee Hill and/or the Surefire 2 piece RAS style handguards accept the Knights Armament or Tangodown covers. I used to have a KAC RAS for my M4 and it had a notch at the rear of each set of rails. That notch kept the spring on the cover locked into place and kept it from sliding off while shooting. Do the other brands of 2 piece rails have this feature?

Yes my YHM lightweight tube does work with the KAC, very well in fact.  It does however have a slight wiggle but nothing really noticeable.  I'll continue to use both in the future.

You want the new two piece handguards made by MI. They are notched for the KAC rail panels.
