I do most of my shooting at knob creek but that's on the south side of louisville. you might try looking in the hometown forums. there's a button/link at the top of the page

There is a pretty decent range at Cave Run (in between Lexington and Ashland)
I think it goes out to about 300yds Last time I was there it was $5 to park (honor system) Knob Creek is also a great range especially for machine guns There is also an indoor pistol range in Paris Ky. called "Buds" Another 50yd rifle range up past dry ridge, can't remember the name though |

If I remember right I think theres one around Stanford and one in Boyle County thats pretty nice, goes out to 300 yards.
