Nope... not hot enough... Needs to be in the 700 degree range... I believe thats the temp Ive heard anyway.

i live in las vegas and it gets real hot during the summer. sometimes i want to go to the range straight after work but fear leaving ammo the hot car all day

only one way to find out, leave a lot of ammo in the car.......at the end of the day, if your car doesn't have any ventilation holes in it, you know that it won't.

We've got ammo sitting out exposed to 120+ here in Iraq. Lots of belted ammo up in machine guns that pull guard/convoy duty. Haven't had any cook offs. Now, you have to wear gloves when handling all that hot hardware.
