manual i got with my rifle had an insert in it

saying how to break in a match barrel?

i dont think it is but need some confirmation

any help would be great

Barrel break in still has some controversy.  Some say it is a must, others don't.  If you have the time, equipment, match grade barrel, and ammo.  Go for it.

Don't bother if you have a chrome lined barrel.

Not a match bbl. You have a chrome lined bbl. No need for break in. Just run a couple of patches down the bore to get out any shipping oil and shoot that thing. Give it a good cleaning when you get home and it's broke in.
