I have purchased several Colt uppers here KY Imports
So far I've been completely satisfied, and if you buy several you can usually negotiate a better price. ETA: For Rock River parts I've had excellent luck with the boys at ADCO |

I wrote to sawlesales and asked for a Colt 20" Govt profiled 1/7 upper. (complete)
Answer: "No, but we expect to be offering them early fall" I can wait, and hope to one of the first in line |

I specifically asked for the A3 (or would it be an A4 since thats the designation USMC assigns?), and should have noted that in my first post. Even though I could probably be happy with a Bushy 1/7 or one of the others available (CMMG, Sabre, etc) I am determined to have an all Colt set up and will use an LE Colt lower (since going all FN aint an option)  Can't wait - but will. |

A4s are 20" flattops to both branches, A3s are fixed carry handle 20" with SSA FCG. Ordering parts from SAW in military speak usually gets you slapped around, you must have got lucky.
You'd better check your order/wish as an "A3" is a fixed carry handle. Reason # 110001 for not applying military terms to civilian rifles. |
