I'm building my first ar and have started buying my parts. I'm going with a stag arms stripped lower and a kit from Model 1 sales (assembled upper with stock and bolt carrier group). My question is in regard to the lower kit. I've heard good and bad about model 1's lower parts that come with the kit so I am going to buy a separate lower parts kit. I'm buying 3 stripped lowers so if the kit I get with the model 1 stuff is good I'll just use it in another ar. So, finally my question, which lower parts kit is the best for the value with minimal or no fitting. I'm not going to shoot any competitions with these rifle. I just want good reliable field rifles with a normal trigger without spending a ton of money. I'm not a gunsmith but I'm fairly handy, I wish to avoid major fitting of parts. Due to my inexperience with building ar's I probably won't know if one part is in spec and another is not. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

I think RRA's lower parts are excellent. I just used one the other day to assemble an Ameetec lower and I didn't need to do anything at all to it. It went right in like it was a matched set with the Ameetec. I bought it at Eagle Firearms for $54.

I'll only use RRA's LPK's.
