I recently picked up an LE only Colt with a detachable carry handle,this is my 1st experience with a flat top AR,what do the #'s mean?T2-T12??Thanks in advance.

BTW,I mounted my Aimpoint in the T12 slot,it just feels right there as opposed to the other locations.

Top slot numbers.

T-2 = Top slot number  2

T-4 = Top slot number 4

And so on...

They are just there to make it easier for you to keep track of where you prefer to mount different devices.
