Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about 10" upper

I have an A2 10" upper barrel receiver assembly that I purchased back in97. I was wondering if any of you guys would know the manufacture of this item. The only markings are on the right side of the upper receiver, just forward of the sight. There is an "F" stamped in, followed by a raised "M" just below it. Thanks for your help.

At least one of them is a forge mark, indicating the manufacturer of the upper. Probably the raised one.
