Why?

Cause A2 is too long.

Why not just the A1 stock?

Some like more positions. I think the Canadians do it so that one size really does fit all. The US guys you see with that setup probably drew one from the armory, cause we have them for the M4s.

I would rather have an A1.

have seen quite a few on the Canucks rifles, but to me it just looks "goofy" for lack of a better word.

If I wasn't in the financial pits, I'd consider a LMT Crane stock for my 20'' Bushie.   Good cheek weld and consistency if I could find the perfect length of pull.  I do find the A2 a tad long.

Soldiers come in different sizes. One size fits all.

See jacket and body armor comment posted above.

I think a magpul stock would be the shnizzle.  But I also like the storage in an A2.  I keep a cleaning kit in there and a shell extraction tool in the pistol grip.

Hey Hokie, hows the Bushy lower?

I got the EA set up with a telestock, she sure is nice!

I like your tag line, I have a 20" pre-ban upper with a really odd Colt A2 with the same color as the original EA finish, I might strip the lower so they match, I have the 20" on it right now with the telestock, it does look odd but really is comfortable and versatile.

Body armor,  heavy winter jackets; seems functional, who cares how it looks?

Good to see not everyone is oblivious to the obvious

I guess I'm just partial to Fixed stocks. Like having the stability for a prop or a club or whatever.

With a collapsible stock it would fit better in the front of a cruiser too....wouldn't  it???
