What is the difference in these? I ordered an A2 from AMeetec and when it showed up it is grey?? Looks black on there websight and they list A1 Stocks as well??

Typical with the material used, if you look closer at the fibers, you should/might be able to see white. They are black, but they do look more grey.  Not the same material as the old A1 stocks I don't think, the A1 was plastic?

If you want it black, Brownells Aluma-Hyde II matte black will do a perfect job.  Just be sure to clean completely, follow directions, and allow a week for the finish to completely cure.
