At 1000 yards, I want to put 3 rounds through the same hole.  Accuracy is the up-most importance, money is not.  How would you build this rifle?  Caliber?  Barrel length?  Upper?  Lower?  Trigger?  Scope?

I think I figured out how to do this.. Hang a big tractor tire from a tree at 1000 yards, and shoot thru the hole in the middle, then you will be putting them all in the same hole..

LOL, that's about it...    Maybe one of the tires off of Bigfoot after the Monster Truck rally comes through town?

1k yard accuracy?    Check into a 6.5-284 "Fag Mag" F class rig maybe, basically benchresting on your tummy with a gun built like that of a bench rest rifle.

For a semiauto, in an AR15 platform the 6.5 Grendel shows promise while in an AR10 platform the 260Rem will hold an edge on the Grendel.

Be happy if you can hold MOA at 1k yards which is gonna be around 10.5 inches, anything under that and be VERY happy.       Putting several shots into a nice tight clover leaf?    Uh uh, rules of probability and statistics is going to make it extremely unlikely even with the most accurate of rifles.     A 3 inch group at 1k yards is less than .3MOA and that's a hard level of accuracy for the technology to try to match even in perfect conditions, enter the shooter and he's levels of precision and it gets even further fouled up.

Easy - you need an M41 Pulse Rifle in the 40-MegaWatt range.
