[ARCHIVED THREAD] - cast lower parts?

I just noticed that my safety selector and my bolt catch release seem somehow less quality then my other AR. They feel more plastic like and less like hard metal. Is it just my imagination or are these parts inferior cast ones? And if so, what other parts might be cast and should I replace them all if possible?

eh those look kinda expensive! I just wanted to know if Bushmaster sells cast lower parts, or if they only sell forged parts. If the latter is the case, then the complete reciever that I bought has poorer quality aftermarket parts and I can buy just the ones I need individually from BM. If the former was true then it's just my imagination.
