The grip is probably the easiest thing on an AR to change... except maybe for the mag!
 There's probably 20 different grips to choose from... almost any of them are fine and to be honest, theres nothing wrong with the stock grip (thats all for you Lumpy!). The only thing you will need to change a grip is an allen key long enough to reach inside the grip. Some of them use flat head screws, but most are allen keys. Also be aware of the small spring on the left side that the grip holds in place so you dont loose it. |

You can't go wrong with a Hogue grip. I LOVE mine but it isn't as "tactical" as some people like.
I love it, wouldn't have it any other way. My new lower came with a G27 on it, if i recall correctly (its back in-state while i'm at school, onloy held it once and I shipped off) and the G27 felt wonderful (errr... as wonderful as a grip can feel without an upper on the lower  )- BG |

I went back to the hogue.... and it was like..... AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH:  Then there is always A2:  A1:  A2 Stowaway:  Ergo:  SPR:  So I guess you can say I have tried a few. You know what I like. |

I've used several as well and the Houge grip is the one on my most shot gun for probably more than 5 years now. I will try the new Magpul grip on that gun when it comes out, but its going to have some big shoes to fill. If I dont like it as much the Houge will go right back on!

And believe me... I have small hands... and was really excited about the Tango Down since every here acted like they were the shizzzznit. Well the battery storage is the bomb on the TD. Too bad it will make me drop my rifle. I find it way more slippery than the A2.... and way too small. I dont know who could shoot good with that thing. Blech.
I keep saying it.... maybe I will call up hogue.... if they could copy the internal water-resistant storage of the TD..... it would hands down become THE grip.... without question, at least in my eyes. |
