I think assault weapons and their copies are banned in Chicago and Aurora. Other than that they're legal. No SBR or F/A in IL.

Not just Chicago proper, but all of Cook County. Rifles marked "Colt AR-15" are specifically prohibited while Bushmaster, etc. are not. Typical.

Stay out of Cook County and Aurora, and IL isn't nearly as bad as people think. Alot of people seem to think half of the state has local AW bans, which we don't.
Only crappy thing is no class 3, and no CCW. |
