Recently bought a 97S and am extremely pleased with it. It digests various lots of military ammo and handloads without a single malfunction through 200+ rounds. With the best ammo its accuracy seems to exceed my conventional light barrel AR's.  I believe that Bushmaster has perfected this design. The 97S works for me as a very lightweight, highly accurate "iron" sighted walkabout rifle for the woods and farm. Weight is an issue for me that this rifle reliably solves.
