This will probably just throw fuel on the fire, but does the AWB sunset depend on the time zone you are in?
When it's midnight in DC, it's only 9pm here on the west coast. Can run outside firing into the air then?  or do we all have to wait until after midnight in our own respective time-zones? |

the ban expires on Midnight Moday EST thats were the law was passed and were it will sunset (its real time)

Yes Monday. All of my Glock mags are marked 9-13-94. So 9-12-2004 at 23:59 59 would be the last second of the ban. Don't look at the anti websites, they are wrong with the time as they are with everything else.

I better start loading mags. The news said that after the ban expires the streets will be flooded with 18 year olds that just bought AK47s that are legal to own again. I will need to protect my family.

Too bad Wal-Mart doesn't sell LEO ARs I'd get on at 12:01 am just to be one of the first. Does anyone know of any other LEGAL all nite gun shops here on the East Coast? |

Ever bought a firearm from Wal-Mart? You could probably have one in your hands faster if you just waited for a gun shop to open. I think, altogether, it took me about 4 hours to pick up the 10/22 I ordered, and 2 trips back home for proof of residency. By the time I got it in my hot little hands, I was frustrated and ready to load it up and go back in shooting. |
