Mine is. I suffered numerous FTF. Earlier in the year I used 55 grain FMJ and it ran pefectly. Is this a common pattern with 14.5 inch models?

does it have M-4 feed ramps, barrel length should have nothing to do with the feeding

Yes it has M4 feedramps. I used new Thermold mags and the round would lodge below the locking lugs sometimes pushing the bullet back in the case. Any remedy?

Try some good USGI mags.  The only jams I have had in my ARs were when I tried thermolds - otherwise known as thermelts .  As stated above, barrel length will not affect feeding in any way.

Well... I did have a feed tower problem on a beta mag once.  Replaced the tower and fixed it.
