Looking into building a new Black Rifle and wondered when i see these offered, which one is the better buy and has more reliablility and longevity?

Forged are considered better. The grade of aluminum the forging or casting is made from and how it is treated can make a difference in the quality also. There are some lowers out made from billet also and the grade and treatment of the metal is different on some of them.

I normally always perfer anything in forged compared to cast, its from when I used to do material inspection I quess.
