I see that there is an assembly guide. To do a disassembly do I just go in reverse taking out the hammer first and then the trigger and selecto? Thanks.

Just reverse the assembly process.  A tap or two will slide the springs out of the notches in the pins.

I made punches from plastic injection runners.  I guess brass punches would work too, but I still think brass is harder than the finish on the pins.  Wood dowel might work.
