Do they exist? Are they any good?

I am not looking to mount anything but the grip.

I have no idea, but if you do have to mount a rail, it isn't bad at all, infact it is very cheap.

They exist.

Falcon, who is OEM for MAgpul, YHM, nad Cavalry Arms makes them.

They are okay.  I got one early on to try a vertical grip to see if I liked them.  Eventually, I got a RAS for a vertical grip and light. I wouldn't use one of these on anything other than a plinking ugn.

If you have double heat shields, beware.

Yep...they're M-4 handguards, which, in my understanding, have double heat shields.

BRP Tactical Foregrip

I had one on my .45 AR. I liked it alot. More natural feeling than the 90 degree jobbies.

I bought one of the rail and grip combos from AAC. They have them now for $39.00 for the rail and the grip. I was happy with mine till I got the RAS and a SIR.

I mounted it to a set of Colt M4 handgards. All you have to do is remove the first heat shild, install the rail and then reinstall the heat shield. No big deal.

Here are some pics of they rail and the grip.

Here is the rial with my M900 mounted to it.
