Can one of our brothers in arms explain the requirements for making a SBR legal.
Id like to end up with the standard m4 profile on my civilian rifle, but am a little fuzzy about all these technicalities.
What if anything can be done?

Check in with the guys in the M16 - Full Auto AR Forums.  You will get an answer here shortly but you may get one faster there.

you have to live in a state where SBR's are legal.  then get an ATF form1 and get a CLEO sign off (same as for a machine gun).  send in pics, finger prints, signed forms, and $200 and then wait for the approved forms to come back.  then buy your upper and put it on.
