I'm one of the last few persons in the "rifle's gotta look good too" line, but I just don't like the "look" of the pistol grip. TD vertgrip works for me, or the Dieter.

I tried the ARMS 23 and hated it. The pistol grip is not the right angle for the supporting hand IMO. I removed the finger grooves from the grip and rounded it somewhat, but still, it sucked. Same with the Fobus grip and I removed the finger grooves on it too with the same results (actually, I tried the Fobus first, then the ARMS). Finally I got the TD and have been completely satisfied with it.

I use a "broomhandle" vertical grip from GG&G. I like it a lot. Sorry, no digital camera though. Are you any good at remote viewing?

I did all that with a pistol grip foregrip and then turned it around backwards. Although it looks funny it is comfortable now and I like it. Hard to beat a foregrip for $5.

I'm using an AAC Swiss vertical grip. It's okay, but I want one about the same size with battery storage. I've never tried a pistol grip as a vertical, but it just looks like it wouldn't be very comfortable. The AAC works fine for me.

My problem with the pistol grip-type forward grips is that the finger grooves don't match the way I hold the grip. They actually go into my palm, rather than between my fingers. So I use the good 'ol KAC vertical foregrip.
