I looked on their website and was not sure if you have to remove the front site post to install it? Do you? Also any members who have this on their rifles could you post some pics, I would appreciate it.

Yes, you do have to remove the front sight to install. So if ou have a permanently attached muzzle device, you are going to have a very difficult time. If not, you should be able to do it yourself.

Here is my new FIRSH.  I got it from Triple Break Products.  It is the mid-length and I had them install if for me.  I guess I could have done it myself, but they only wanted $35 for the install which probably saved me from bloody knuckles and lot of swearing.

Thanks for the replies. I have a permanant muzzel brake on my AR so it looks like this item is not for me. I guess I will have to go with the Fobus M44 since I am not really very rich at the moment to afford RAS or something similar.
