There's one on the EE, (wish "search" worked I'd give ya link to it) it has a round bottom, designed to install and remove collapsible stocks, as well as do all the other things the tools is supposed to do. I have one and it works, check it out, reasonably priced too. Mike |

the extra heavy duty wrench is the way to go you dont need to attach a socket wrench to it to work it plus it has a better pattern for your barrel nut ....dont skimp on tools ...do the job corectly...

The heavy duty wrench is most definitely the way to go. The finish is tough, as is the wrench. But the best part is it has a semi-circle full of teeth for the barrel nut instead of just three teeth - less chance of damage or slipping off.

I didn't see the pics, but how many pounds of torque did he put on that thing, or was it a bad wrench?

Get the reciever block instead of the barrel blocks.

That was me [:)] It popped on a flash hider, while holding the upper in my left hand, so about 10 ft-lb in that notch is all it took. It had an obvious casting flaw, and I now have a nice brand new one that I just assembled an M4 upper with. Sometimes it pays to complain. |
