I purchased an SP-1 today and am hoping to find out roughly when it was manufactured. The serial# is SP160xxx.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

go to ar15 faqs....or there is a seperate serial list next to the faq link...I forget

I have an SP1 sn SP55XXX that was made in 76...so look at around 80 or 81 ...this is a guess, mind you.
