Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any .17 HMR upper conversions yet?

Any manufacturers have an upper and conversion for the .17 HMR round? Its definately a sweet little round through a bolt gun, I was just wondering if any are in the works. I was thinking about a .22 upper to plink. But .17 would be an awesome little round to pop squirrels and varmits. Not that i cant do that with .223 but its less messy.

There was talk of it quite a while ago, but I believe the company that was working on it got bought out and no one knows for sure if the project is still underway
