I am thinking of replacing my lower receiver's springs to refurbish my old(Vietnam vintage!!)COLT. It is still reliable, but I will feel more comfortable having fresh springs in it. Which do you think makes the best springs for the lower? WOLFF, ISMI or BUSHMASTER? and do you think its necessary? I saw the springs being sold by DPMS in their field repair kit and it looks like "copper" wound spring and kinda weak. Some gunsmiths told me that I am better of with my orig. springs because it is milspec and stronger.

DPMS and other suppliers' springs ARE milspec.
