Behind my house, walk out the basement and BOOM! Pic shows the scope of my AR-50 aimed at sheetrock target 250 yards away. 100 yard range is to the right of the shed. I'm very lucky.

Fort Bliss Rod and Gun Club. We've got a 200,300,400,500,600,and 1000m steel range, a 100m zero range, and a 300m prone. Plus its only thirty bucks a year for active duty.[:)]

Wow. My place sucks and its WAY expensive. Its run by stuck up skeet and trap shooters. (Nothing wrong with those sports, I shoot them competetively but these people decide where the money goes.)

Hey SK1911,

I'll be on range #7 next Sunday at 0900.  I'll be easy to spot, because I normally only fire sport utility rifles.  

I'll probably have my new AR varmint rig, plus a AK and FAL there.  Look for a red or white Pathfinder.  I shoot every week, but tomorrow I have to put a water pump in my truck, so I won't be there.  

There's usually three or four of us that shoot SURs regularly, and one of the guys I shoot with will be test firing his new Savage heavy barrel bolt gun tomorrow.

I have to dig up a pic I took of the range from an airliner window a few months ago.
