I have an old Colt SP1 w/o the raised fence, w/o the FA, and A1 sights (obviously), and big front pin.  My ? is, does this have a non reinforced reciever in the pin areas?

SP1 recievers are not reinforced in the pin areas.  This modification did not appear on AR15s until after they were first introduced on the M16A2.
