Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Do you think a New Front Pivot Pin will help an Upper go on this Pre Ban Lower?

I have a Pre ban Bushmaster Lower that I can only get the Front Pivot Pin to go about half way in on the Bushmaster Upper I want to use on it and it stops cold.

Bushmaster says that if I install a New Front Pivot Pin should work fine?

What Ya Think ?

Are you sure it's a Bushmaster upper?  How old is it?

Yes, 100% it's a Bushmaster Upper.

These are both old (Mint) Guns from 1994

These are two Pre bans and the One lower both uppers will go on fine.

The other lower will work with one Upper but the one I want to put on it that Front Pivot Pin will only go about half way through?

Bushmaster says to try a new Front Pivot Pin?

What do you think my problem is?
