4T663 is a CAGE code to identify a govt contractor. I can't access the site at the moment, but if you go to [url]http://www.dlis.dla.mil/CAGESearch/[/url] you'll be able to look it up.

4T663 is the CAGE code for Engineering Research of Naples, Florida, a subcontractor for Honeywell. Looks like they made some barrels for a USGI parts contract at some point.

Thanks for the replies! Is this barrel worth anything to a collector or should I just chuck it? It came off of a H&R M16 so it is pretty shot out.

I don't know of any worn-out barrel collectors, but some folks may be interested in the front sight block, as they're hard to come by these days, since most of them are bored out to fit HBAR-profile barrels. Take it off the barrel and post it in the EE for a few bucks.
